Type of event: Performance Start time: 8:00pm Duration: 40 minutes Venue: Mansion House, Lord Mayor's Residence Description: To mark the end of his tenure as the Lord Mayor of Bristol, openly gay, Peter Main held a reception at Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor in Bristol and invite hos favourite choir to sing for his guests. Peter is a big Abba fan (his email address is one of their song titles) and asked us to 'Up the Abba ratio' for the performance (we had only planned one song from Sweden's leading quartet until Peter intervened. It's hard to say no to the Lord Mayor, so we obliged.
After the event, we received a lovely email from Peter:

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the choir for their lovely performance on Monday, marred only by my participation. Your singing certainly made the evening unforgettable. I will never forget that evening and your contribution to it.
